La Gomera Sights
La Gomera is one of the smaller islands in the Canary archipelago and can be easily reached by ferry from Tenerife, so it's a great place to visit for a day trip. There are plenty of tour offers in the travel agencies in Los Christianos/ Playa de las Americas that will allow you to take in the beautiful sights of the island, and you can choose to either go for a bus tour or a jeep safari.
San Sebastian
San Sebastian is the capital of La Gomera and the docking point of the ferries from Tenerife. It is a quiet and sleepy small town, especially in the hours of siesta, with a picturesque harbour and surrounding mountains.

Garajonay National Park
Garajonay is named after two star-crossed lovers, Gara from La Gomera and Jonay from Tenerife who jumped from the highest peak of the island. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a large proportion of it covered by a laurel rain forest (laurisilva) and it's a great place for hiking! If you would like to hike though, don't come with an organised tour as there is not enough time - rent a car and make your own way instead.
The park's visitor information centre Juego de Bolas also has a mini-botanical garden with native plants.
